Lebanon, OH- The City of Lebanon Parks and Recreation Committee will host the 11th annual Red Hot Blues Run during the city's annual Blues Festival on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at 7 p.m. The event, which will include a 5k, 10k, and 15k run, will begin downtown in front of the Golden Lamb and continue along the Lebanon-Countryside YMCA Trail. There will also be a free kids run beginning at 6 p.m. Runners of all abilities are encouraged to participate, and each runner will receive $5 in "Blues Bucks" that can be used at the Lebanon Blues Festival, which will be going on before and after the run. This event helps raise money for improvements to the City's park system.

The cost of the event is $30.00 (pre-registration) and $35.00 (race day registration), and includes an event T-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for the top three male and female runners from each category.

4:30 PM - 6:45 PM in the rear parking lot of the City Building located at 50 S. Broadway Avenue.

Run starts at 7:00 p.m. Free kids run before the main run.
