First annual Denton Means Business 5K & 1M Fun Run, hosted by the Denton Chamber of Commerce in partnership with North Texas Athletics and Denton Area Running Club.

The event is supporting the Mayor's Youth Summer Jobs Program!

Race will take place on UNT campus starting at the 50-yard line in Apogee Stadium.

Runners from North Texas and surrounding areas come join us in this fun-filled event. The 1M preceding the 5K will be FREE for kids and is an Untimed Event.

Awards in the 5K will be as follows:

Overall M & F, Overall Master M & F (40+) & Overall Grand Master M & F (50+)

Medals will be given to the top 3 Males & Females in the following age groups:

1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Packet Pickup is currently scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2016, between the hours of 2 & 7 p.m. at UNT at the Barnes and Nobles Mean Green Team Store: (Gate 2) at Apogee Stadium

5K Participants: Disposable Bibs with timing chip attached, swag bag, t-shirt and medals for the 1st 2nd and 3rd place winners

1M - All kids receive finisher necklacel.

All participants will have access to food/beverage at the Tailgate/Awards Party beginning at 11:00 a.m. The UNT SPRING game follows at 2:00 p.m.
