Some Native American tribes called the August full moon the Sturgeon Moon because they knew that the Sturgeon Fish of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this full moon.
Let's gather and celebrate the August Sturgeon Full Moon! Runners of any skilled level is welcome to this fun run. There will be (2) different routes available to choose from.
Meet in the reserved room at Brick House West. Safety reflective vests will be available to borrow for the run. Glow sticks and necklaces will be provided to wear or carry at all times during your run. For safety and FUN, everyone is required to wear reflective gear, or glow sticks and glow necklaces. Please run against traffic and obey all traffic signals.
After the Sturgeon Full Moon Fun Run join us for the post fun run party back at the Brick House West!
