Immerse yourself in Colorado's summer playground for adventurer's. Join High Profile's Colorado Adventure Camp for a one of a kind multi-sport trip of a lifetime.

Spend 4 days on and around Mount Elbert and Twin Lakes. Rock climb, rappel, mountain bike, trek and mountaineer. The final day of the camp will be a summit attempt on Mount Elbert, the tallest mountain in Colorado.

Base camp is conveniently located in the historic mining town of Twin Lakes at an elevation of 9,200'.

The cost of the camp is only $1300 per adult and $650 for teenagers attending with a parent or parents. This includes 4 days of mountaineering adventure, 4 nights accommodations in a historic lodge, a daily hosted evening social hour, a commemorative gift, rock climbing at historic 10th Army training areas on Independence Pass, all ropes, rigging and climbing gear, instruction, maps, insurance, and an after summit celebration sponsored by Active Endeavors. Personal expenses are on your own. Note: Lodging based on double occupancy.

Each day's activities have been geared to acclimatize you to the altitude increasing your chances of standing on the summit of the highest peak in Colorado and the 2nd highest in the contiguous United States.

4:00 p.m. Check In at the Mount Elbert Lodge in Twin Lakes
7:00 p.m. Arrival Get Together and Camp Orientation at the lodge.

Thursday, June 11, 2015
6:00 a.m. Breakfast (on your own)
7:30 a.m. Leave for Fixed Ropes Adventure at Monitor Rock on Independence Pass
8:00 a.m. Fixed Ropes (rappelling, rock climbing)
5:00 p.m. Hosted Social Hour
6:00 p.m. Picnic Dinner as a group at the Lodge

Friday, June 12, 2015
6:00 a.m. Breakfast (on your own)
9:00 a.m. Trek or mountain bike on the Colorado Trail the perimeter of the Twin Lakes. Visit the historic Interlaken Resort. Sections of the trail are on the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race.
5:00 p.m. Hosted Social Hour at the Lodge
6:00 p.m. Dinner at the Lodge
7:00 p.m. Group Meeting and Gear Preparation for Summit Attempt

Saturday, June 13, 2015
03:00 a.m. Leave Lodge for Mount Elbert summit (note: We will be trekking the "east ridge" route. It is a 12.5 mile round trip with 4,900' elevation gain and rated as Class 1. Round trip takes approximately 9 hours)
7:00 p.m. Hosted Summit Party at The Grill in Leadville. The Grill has been rated as the top Mexican restaurant in all of Colorado. It is very authentic and a great time!

Note: This list reflects gear which I have personally used extensively on multi-day expedition adventure races and on mountaineering trips to Mount Rainier and Colorado 14er's.
