10:00 - Superhero Photo Wall Opens
10:30 - Kids Fun Run at Gowan's Stadium
10:40 - 5K Awards Presentation
10:50 - Superhero Costume Awards
11:00 - 2:30pm - Face Painting - YMCA
11:30 - Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA
11:30-2:30pm - Healthy Snacks - YMCA

Start near Hutchinson High School and the Hutchinson YMCA end in Gowan's Stadium

We believe there are all kinds of SUPERHEROS out there. Teachers, kids, parents, mentors... many people go to extraordinary efforts to help kids be great! So on race day were asking you to SHOW us your inner-superhero by dressing as a REAL or INVENTED superhero! Awards will be given in each category for ALL ages!

The Superhero 5k is a chip-timed event, ensuring all participants will have an accurate finish time. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and division. Age group medals and costume awards will be presented following the 5k and Kids Fun Run. Don't forget to dress up as a real or invented Superhero to be eligible for the costume awards!

We want all our Superheros to get recharged after
the race so we will be featuring healthy foods that are part of the Life of An Athlete's "Power Back" Diet. These foods can help your body recharge, recover and get your power back!

Proceeds from the Superhero 5k will benefit Communities That Care and USD308 Hutchinson Public Schools.
