Lace up for the 2nd annual Run for Orphans 5K and 1-Mile Family Run on Saturday, September 12, 2015. This family friendly event benefits Every Orphan's Hope, an orphan-care ministry in Zambia, Africa, as well as Grace Covenant Academy, a private, Gospel-centered, university-model school in Frisco.

A DJ will bring the beats and we'll bring the fun! Family friendly activities will include crafts, a rock wall, bounce houses, a balloonist and face painters.

Run for Orphans will be facilitated by Luke's Locker and Frisco Running Co. The 5K is a chip-timed event on a double-loop, USATF-certified course.

Awards will be presented to 5K runners only:
Trophy - 1st Place: Female
Trophy - 1st Place: Male
Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals - Top Male & Female finishers in the following age groups:
4-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Results of the race will be posted on racechiptiming.com.

You may also register during packet pick-up, which is Thursday and Friday, September 10-11, from 10 A.M.-6:30 P.M. at Luke's Locker at The Shops at Legacy in Plano, and on Race Day.
