About the Event |
Runners: Novartis Consumer Health and the Lincoln Track Club invite you to celebrate family fitness by participating in the April 11, 2015, Novartis Run. Everyone is welcome in the 2-mile fun run/walk and the 10-kilometer race. The 33rd Annual Novartis Run has a long history of providing not only a fun family event but also a competitive race for top area runners competing in the Lincoln Track Club circuit.
Designated as the lead over-the-counter manufacturing site for Novartis Consumer Health, the Lincoln plant manufactures and distributes quality products throughout the United States.
The plant is located on 420 acres northeast of Lincoln, and contains over 330,000 square feet. Major products marketed and manufactured by Novartis Consumer Health are Benefiber®, Excedrin®, and Theraflu®.

Awards |
Prizes will be given in the 10-kilometer race and 2-mile fun run/walk. Gift certificates may be redeemed at The Lincoln Running Company.
Overall:
In the 10-kilometer race, the top three men and women finishers will receive gift certificates as follows:
1st……………..$100
2nd…………….$75
3rd……………..$50
In the 2-mile fun run/walk, the top three men and women will receive $25, $15, and $10 gift certificates, respectively.
There will be no age division awards in the 2-mile fun run/walk.

In each division of the 10-kilometer race only, the top three men and women will receive gift certificates in the following amounts:

Divisions for the 10K races: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over and wheelchair.
Special Note:
There will be no duplication of awards.

Special Attention:
After the race we will again have refreshments in the park for all participants, plus gift certificates and prizes.
Kids' Grand Prix:
The Novartis Run is the second run in the Kids' Grand Prix series.
This special program for elementary kids provides prizes based on participation in selected Lincoln Track Club races in the spring and summer. Watch for future runs.
