Event Information |
The His & Hers 5K Run/Walk is a fun chip timed run in beautiful River Legacy Park in North Arlington. The 5K course is USATF-certified and it's a relatively flat and fast, mostly tree-shaded course. Have fun running, walking, or strolling along as a couple or as an individual. Marriage is an honorable institution designed by God and this fun run was created to bring excitement and commitment back to the institution of marriage in light of the extremely high divorce rate in our Nation. The His & Hers 5K Run/Walk benefits the Sons of Daniel and Daughters of Deborah Mentoring Programs. These programs work with boys and girls in grades 4 - 12 to help them build self-esteem, self-confidence, community awareness, and life skills. Please join us for a great morning of fun. Parking is available in the park.
