Course |
A shady, picturesque 2-mile course which includes one complete loop of Washington Park. It will start and end near Washington Park Picnic Shelter on the south side of the park. A water stop will be available at 1-mile. The race course is lined with cheering spectators.

Now to May 31, 11:59 pm registration is $20, June 1 to July 10 is $25, and $30 on Friday, July 11 at Packet pickup. There will be no race day registration.
To be eligible for door prizes participants MUST be registered by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, July 10.

Children's Fun Run |
1/8 to 1/4 mile distance
Immediately follows 2-mile race, approximately 8:45 AM

Youth L (14-16)
This short race open to all boys and girls, ages 2 through age 10, and is designed to encourage running. It will follow the 2-mile race and located by the Washington Park tennis courts. Children must register online and receive written permission from a parent or guardian. T-shirts will be guaranteed for the first 200 children who register and this race is limited to (200) participants.

Registration and Packet Pick-Up |
Packet pickup for both the Women's Distance Race and Kids fun run will be held at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL on July 11, 2014, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Also, packets may be picked up on the day of the race from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.

- This event will be scored by Steve Snyder.
- All runners must wear their timing tag to be scored.
