Paul Skeffington Memorial Race - 5-Mile Run & 2-Mile Run/Walk

Race Day Only

Saturday 21 Jun 08 from 6:30 - 7:45 AM.
DeWitt Community Center, 512 10th Street.

8:00 AM start time (begins at Lincoln Park)

5 Mile Run
2 Mile Run
2 Mile Walk

If walking the course, you must be completed in 1 hour and 15 minutes (9:15 AM).

9:15 AM - The 1 Mile Fun Run begins.

There is no entry fee for this event and all participants receive a finishing ribbon (however no t-shirt).

9:30 AM - Awards

Overall Male and Female:

1st Place $100 and trophy
2nd Place $50 and trophy
3rd Place $25 and trophy


First (3) Finishers in each of the following age groups receive a trophy:

29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Overall Male and Female:

1st Place Trophy
2nd Place Trophy
3rd Place Trophy


First (3) Finishers in each of the following age groups receive a trophy:

8 and under, 9-12, 13-16, 17-21, 22-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65+

All participants who register before June 3rd, will be guaranteed a shirt at the event. For those registered after June 3rd, participants may be mailed their shirt after the event.

Proceeds will benefit a $500 scholarship fund, as well as several community improvements.

DJ, Food, Refreshments and Awards - all following the Fun Run.

Pizza Party sponsored by: Godfather's, Happy Joe's, Papa Tony's and Pizza Hut.

Each participant will receive $5 in DeWitt Chamber Bucks to spend in our community.
