For several years, Greater Iowa City Area- Student Scholarships has been raising money to fund scholarships, and since inception, over $100,000 has been awarded.

The course is certified (IA100009MF).
The course begins at the West end of the Coralville Dam. Runners will head East off of the Dam and then down Prairie Du Chein Road.
The course is rolling and scenic and finishes at College Green Park which is located just East of downtown Iowa City.

Cash prizes will be given to the overall TOP 3 male and female runners.

1st place is $200, 2nd place is $150, and 3rd place is $100.

Also, medals will be awarded to the top 2 male and female runners in each of the following age groups:
18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 +.

Given that the race is point to point, buses will be available to transport runners to the start of the race. Buses depart between 6:30 and 7:15 AM.
You may park your vehicle on the street or in the parking ramp two blocks east of College Green park. Of course, if you have arrangements to get back out to the dam after the run (or if you want to have twice the fun and run back) then you can leave your car at the dam.

Parking will be available in the spillway near the west end of the dam.

April 11th, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Scheels in the Coral Ridge Mall or day of event at the East end of the Dam.
