Elver Park is a charming park just 16 minutes west of the central Madison.The largest of all Madison Community Parks, Elver Park spans an impressive 227 acres in the southwest corner of the city. Here, you find a great breadth of recreational features offered throughout the year. During the summer, the disc golf course becomes the park's most unique feature, but the softball diamonds, soccer fields, and reservable shelters are all very popular and delightful. Winter enthusiasts enjoy the ice-skating and hockey rinks, sledding hill, and particularly the lighted cross-country ski trials. The course will provide more challenging terrain than the first two races, adding some elevation into the fun!
