About the Pump N' Row |
Event Description
This is a non-running event where athletes will bench press a percentage of their body weight based upon an age and gender handicap. After the bench press, they can stop, or choose to move on to the next station, and do a 500 Meter Row using a Concept 2 Indoor Rowing Machine. There will be preliminary round Bench Press Awards, Fastest Row Awards, and the Pump N' Row Champion in separate Male and Female Categories. The Pump N' Row Champion is determined by the Fastest Net Row Time, which is computed by reducing the Row Time by one second, for each bench press repetition. In addition, there will be a Pump-OFF Championship, in which the top 5 Male and top 5 Female Bench Press Performers will compete. See flier for details.

Participants will pick one of the following lift times:
Friday, May 3rd at Duke Energy Center, 525 Elm Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 (This is the downtown Cincinnati Convention Center).
Noon to 1:00 PM
1:00 to 2:00 PM
5:00 to 6:00 PM
6:00 to 7:00 PM
7:00 to 8:00 PM
Pump-OFF Championship: Saturday, May 5th at 10AM at Sawyer Point
